I was talking to a friend of mine over brunch when the topic of celebrity men came and sex came up. Initially we where talking about how she likes taller men typically but finds Tom Cruise sexier than hell.
Bigger is better when it comes to many things in life, like paychecks, emergency chocolate stashes, and (typically) penises. According to a poll commissioned, interestingly enough, by British big-and-tall brand High And Mighty, most women think that a guy between 6' and 6'6" is ideal where height's concerned. Plus, 70 percent of women say that a guy "wouldn't stand a chance with them" if he's under six feet tall. Harsh.
My friend though pointed out though that Cher once reflected on her relationship with Tom Cruise in the early '80s, telling that the actor "was in the top five" of her best lovers ever. She added, "It was pretty hot and heavy for a little man. He's a great guy and knew how to use everything he has. I don't have a big list of great lovers either." Cher also that that she got it on with Michael Bolton and "Michael is wonderful and is sure filling".
Back to the topic though. As it actually is said by many groupie women famous does not make you better at sex. In fact it seems to make you worse in many cases. Another woman I know close to this topic, Amy, pursued a very famous people in New York for years during her youth. She says, At the base level, confidence is sexy, and you need a certain level of that to get up on stage or behind the camera and perform.
I'm fascinated by people who have talents I wish I had. I would probably rather be the rock star, but I suck at songwriting, so it's cool to be around someone who has the superpowers I lack. When I was 19, it was just validating to be accepted by people I found impressive. It was not about the sex most of the time. Many of the men she recounts where not good in bed at all. "I had way better Average Joe sex than celebrity sex.
There where some great famous lovers who do how to fuck good but there has been a few accounts and construction workers that where better at the sex." But she says things are different now than they were during the golden age of groupiedom-the 70s and 80s. I read [Pamela Des Barres book, I With The Band: Confessions Of A Groupie] and I actually think women back then were still in the sexual revolution mindset where they'd taken the freedom to fuck at will, but the actual act of fucking was still all about serving the dude, she says. They felt like giving [oral sex to] Jimmy Page [of Led Zeppelin] was an honor, which I think is bullshit. I think today there are more girls like me who just go out and fuck like a man to get off.
Fucking the lead singer of a band is the same thing as fucking the head cheerleader. The challenge is fun. Like any dude would, I would high-five my friends about it afterwards. "Don't once think though that all these famous men have giant cocks and can fuck any better than your Office Manager husband!"
