A circumcised man has about 10-20,000 less nerve endings than an uncircumcised male in the head of the penis. In a circumcised male, the glans (which is supposed to be wet, soft and tender like a clitoris) rubs up against underwear and clothing. It develops a tough outer skin, but has become very desensitized.
